New Zealand has two nationwide scentwork trial types these are SSANZ and DogsNZ, these trial formats have different levels, and different odours. We also have smaller trial formats that are region dependent. Noseworx runs our own format NoseworxDDT in the Bay of Plenty region.
SSANZ - Scent Sports Association New Zealand
"Our mission is to develop a variety of scent sports for ‘kiwi’ dog owners.
We promote participation and enjoyment of scent sports in a variety of ways.
We have a number of organisations offering opportunity's to learn the sport of Nosework.

Noseworx Dectector Dog Trials
"Detector Dog Trials are a graduated series of simulated detector dog searches intended to give a “real life” scenario for dog and handler teams. They are designed to offer challenges at each level to encourage teams to enjoy the sport of scentwork in a safe and constructive environment and to build handler/dog relationships through positive experiences." - Noseworxddt
